“Would you rather fight 100 duck sized horses, or 1 horse sized duck?”
That was probably one of the best responses sent as part of the Replyallcalypse started when an NYU Sophomore accidentally sent a message intended for us mother to 40,000 colleagues.
Also, too, this:
A visually inclined student simply attached a photo of Nicholas Cage, which 40,000 students now share and can enjoy whenever they want.
Anyhow, one of my professors suggested the horse and duck fighting question might function nicely as a Zen koan, similar to the question “What is the sound of one hand clapping?”
A Zen Koan is a nonsensical question meant to exhaust a person’s rational faculties until they finally arrive at some sort of esoteric, higher insight–the likes of which would normally be veiled from them.
I feel that I’m already well on my way to understanding the higher truths behind the concepts of horses, ducks, and violence.
